Oasis
Oasis is a smart gateway system enabling automation, bridging, and client control in both industrial and home settings.
Gateways powered by Oasis can avoid the costs of unnecessary Building Management System (BMS) integration, and the complexities of proprietary control systems.
Oasis can include as many or as few modules as required for a specific installation.
Bridging
The Oasis Gateway has bridging capabilities that enable it to connect multiple systems that otherwise cannot communicate with each other directly. This includes native integrations with select partner products and devices. These include:
- Dali lighting systems;
- Smart shade and blind control systems;
- select A/V systems, including powerful audio over IP distribution systems;
- Air Quality and Sound Monitoring sensors;
- Hypericon's Asset Tracking system
In addition to these native integrations, the Oasis Gateway features an Application Programming Interface (API). This API enables the integration
of third-party devices and systems that are not natively supported. As such, the Oasis Gateway can potentially serve as a communication hub for a wide variety of devices and systems.
Automation
The Oasis Gateway offers automation capabilities that can be used as the primary source of automation, or in conjunction with other smart controllers in a system. This flexibility allows for tailored automation strategies to meet specific needs.
One of the key features of the Oasis Gateway is its ability to trigger actions in one system in response to events from another. This inter-system communication can streamline operations and enhance system efficiency.
Additionally, the Oasis Gateway includes a built-in scheduler. This scheduler can be used to trigger actions at specific times, allowing for automated processes to occur without manual intervention.
The scheduling feature also includes the ability to schedule actions with respect to dawn and dusk. This feature can be especially beneficial for automating systems that respond to daylight changes, such as controlling indoor lighting or adjusting window blinds and shades.
Touchscreen Control
The control GUI is a blend of simplicity and elegance. It is user-friendly, intuitive, and offers a touch of luxury without being overly extravagant. It is refined yet approachable, making it a pleasure to use.
The Oasis Gateway comes with a touchscreen Graphical User Interface (GUI) designed for end users and clients. This interface features an intuitive default layout for Zone/System control, providing a user-friendly experience right out of the box.
The GUI provides comprehensive device control, giving users the ability to manage all connected systems from one central location. An optional feature is real-time feedback, offering users immediate information about the status of their systems.
One of the standout features of the Oasis Gateway GUI is that it allows for as many concurrent users as required, without any artificial limitations. This makes it a suitable solution for both small and large-scale operations.
For users seeking a more personalised interface, complete customisation of the GUI is available as a service. This allows for the creation of a unique, tailored user experience that meets specific needs and preferences.
Sensing & Tracking
The Oasis Gateway integrates with a variety of sensor technologies, including air quality sensors and sound monitoring sensors, along with an asset tracking system, providing a comprehensive and interconnected monitoring solution.
Air Quality
The Oasis Gateway is designed to connect with a wide range of our air quality sensors, as well as potentially compatible third-party sensors. This flexibility allows for a tailored approach to air quality monitoring in both home and office settings.
Monitoring air quality has significant benefits; it aids in creating a healthier environment by identifying potential pollutants and allergens, contributes to enhanced productivity and well-being, and can even assist in energy management by identifying areas for improved ventilation or air conditioning. By integrating air quality sensors with the Oasis Gateway, users can gain a better understanding of their environment and make informed decisions to improve their indoor air quality.
Noise Pollution
The Oasis Gateway is also capable of connecting with a variety of sound monitoring sensors. This includes our own range of noise pollution sensors, as well as potentially compatible third-party devices. Implementing sound monitoring can help identify areas of excessive noise, contributing to a more comfortable and less disruptive environment in both residential and commercial settings.
Asset Tracking
The Oasis Gateway is equipped to integrate with our advanced asset tracking solution. This allows for the tracking of both static and mobile assets, both indoors and outdoors, with a range extending over a kilometre. This extensive coverage ensures that valuable assets are always accounted for. Additionally, the system supports the implementation of geofencing rules and events. These can be set to trigger actions in other integrated systems, providing a comprehensive and interconnected approach to asset management and security.
Oasis Cloud
The Oasis Gateway offers an optional suite of cloud components and features, prioritising privacy and security. The cloud functionality includes a logging system that assists installers in system setup and troubleshooting by storing system logs. Additionally, it allows for the saving of sensor data to the cloud, providing easy access via the web portal. The cloud also enables easy updates of configuration data by installers, and a streamlined process for downloading firmware updates, ensuring the system is always operating with the latest features and security enhancements.
